Some bloke was absolutely laying into Nolan big time in the first half. YOU FAT FUCKING COWARD, FUCK OFF YOU FAT FUCKING CUNT! And so on. The boy found it quite amusing.

Turned around and saw it was croe! Didn't see him or Nolan second half, maybe they were having it out?

Couldn't think of a better comparison, Johnson. Downing is a bigger bottle job for me though.

Downing = Etherington without the gambling habit.

Or guts.

Can't work out whether Amalfitano is being dragged down to a level or is actually just fairly shit.

Another toothless performance. We've been treated to half a season this year. If I were a season ticket holder I'd ask for a 50% refund. Fucking shocking these performances! To try and defend or justify this shit is madness! Get Sam out ASAP!

Hope the new manager goes after Zaha, he's exactly what we need. Quick, strong and runs at defenders, plenty of skill and flair. Puts in a decent cross, Good to watch. Something BFS knows fuck all about. COYI

Re: Aston Villa v West Ham - Official Match Thread 1-0 FT
I don't know what to think really. We lost it in the 1st half by starting with Nolan and Noble who are both out of form and everyone knows it but for SA. He made two good substitutions though and we took the game to Villa.

Unfortunately the winger he converted to an attacking midfielder before Christmas (Downing) had to wait until now for a chance in that role again. But Nene who is an attacking midfielder gets shoved out to the wing in Downing's place. It just amazes me this man gets £3m a year for this

Does he do it deliberately or is he just plain fucking stupid?

The only players I enjoyed watching there, Song and Nene, will be gone soon.

I can't help but be frustrated with Kouyate. Not his fault I think, but he is employed as a sort of box to box off the ball runner rather than an actual midfielder. I feel like a season into his career here I still have no idea what his best role in midfield is, and how he can really affect the game other than by galloping forward. The other players I have all but given up on, but he is better than that.

Sam Allardyce's greatest achievement
Relegation football without the fear of relegation to spice it up.

Pure genius, finding a way to make relegation football seem even worse

Nolan will play last game of season and purposely get sent off to ruin our European football adventure. We've worked so hard too by not trying.
